Boston University Joining in Support of Barack Obama

In a fundraising event at Boston University, Barack Obama made his first Boston appearance that officially announced his candidacy. This was a portion of his day long New England campaign that began with two New Hampshire events. The event, held at Boston University’s Agganis Arena sold tickets for $23 for proceeds to the campaign fund. Having graduated from Harvard Law School Obama explained his roots in the community and gave Bostonians more reason to say “Barack Obama is my homeboy”. Given this, t-shirts from the event could easily emphasize Obama’s grassroots philosophies.
